About Us

Welcome to Alhidaayah Foundation

Alhidaayah Foundation is a registered and well-recognized Not-for-Profit Organization in Uganda. Its main areas of focus include: Dawah, Education and Humanitarian services. The establishment of Alhidaayah Foundation was motivated by the desire of the Founding Muslim professionals to create a Strong and morally upright Muslim Society in the Country. Over the years, this organization has played a central role in Uganda’s Dawah and Education involving students in Secondary Schools, Colleges and Universities, and the general public.

The key activities undertaken over the years include:

Spreading and explaining the message of Islam in Mosques, Electronic Media platforms and through published literature.
Students Mentorship and training programs. These are structured programs which run across different academic institutions throughout the year.
Supporting young men and women to build strong Muslim families. We emphasize the importance of strong families as pillars of a vibrant Muslim Society.
Establishing and managing model education institutions. We strive to inculcate strong Islamic values in our education institutions, with a view of churning out Muslim youth with good character.
Serving the community through humanitarian services. We mobilize resources including; food, clothes, and home appliances and distribute them to the poor and vulnerable people in the country side.
Uniting people. Our Organization strives to bring people together. We maintain a non-partisan approach which helps us to be neutral players who can be trusted to mediate disputes.

Develop Active Muslim Personalities

To identify, develop and work with active Muslim personalities among men, women, students, professionals and youth into organized Da'wah work.

Promote Vocational Training

To promote and encourage vocational training through imparting skills of self reliance in carpentry, brick laying, tailoring, computer skills, home economics, metal works and more.
